Thanksgiving Event

Skyline Tour!

The Bus is FULL!!!!!   A 49 passenger bus will be departing the Southern Meadow Clubhouse at 10:30 on Friday November 15th.  Enjoy a beautiful scenic leaf popping tour to East Earl PA arriving at Shady Maple at 12:30.  Shady Maple is a family!  Discover the experience of dining at Lancaster County's largest smorgasbord featuring 200 feet of deliciously authentic Pennsylvania Dutch cooking.  At Shady Maple some of Lancaster County's finest cooks prepare all your favorite PA Dutch foods, as well as some exciting new dishes.  Be sure to check our daily dinner specials including steak, prime rib, seafood and more.  After lunch visit their famous gift shop featuring Amish Handcrafted items.  Departing Shady Maple for Leola PA at 2:30 arriving at Skyline by 3 and tour the factory.  At the factory you will see the stages of production on a home from beginning to end.  See how the plumbing and electricity are put in the homes, the beginning process of the cabinets being made and put in the homes.  The 2x6 walls with 2x6 insulation, how the home is built solid and travels down the road at 80 mph.  the houses are in a climate controlled environment away from the elements of heat, snow and rain.  All homes are thoroughly inspected upon leaving the factory.  

What a wonderful trip, everyone learned a ton about their homes and they saw the new Acacia that is arriving this week!
