Dive In! Exploring the Endless Health Benefits of Swimming Pools

Here at Southern Meadow our residents have access to the community clubhouse. With spring here one of the more popular areas of the clubhouse is sure to be the swimming pool and BBQ area outside. There are many reasons to choose to go swimming, to cool off on a hot day, for a little fun, and for the numerous health benefits that come with swimming are a few.

If you swim for just 2.5 hours a week, you can greatly reduce your risk for chronic disease. In fact, active swimmers have a 50% lower risk of death than people who are inactive. The following infographic published by Custom Pools shows many statistics and health benefits of swimming.
